Objectives:
- Review the main categories of the current AAP classification.
- Learn the classification through case studies.
Session 2
NOVEMBER 28, 2020

The Process of Care Module, ADPIE for Periodontal and Implant – Patient-Centered Care Plans. Review of recession classification and management strategies
Objectives:
- Identify oral and systemic health connections.
- Identify risk factors and indicators during assessments.
- Understand periodontal case management for the ideal therapy outcomes.
- Learn the new recession classification and current management strategies.

ADPIE and Caries Management
Objectives:
- Identify the key risk factors and indicators.
- Learn to identify the levels of carious lesions.
- Learn how to incorporate evidence-informed methodologies to support the clinician in a caries management system.

- Understand the oral microbiome and new immunology concept of symbiosis.
- Create effective patient care plans.
- Mechanical and chemical approaches to managing mature biofilm.
- Evidence-informed technology and guided biofilm therapy (GBT).
- Hands-on component.
